DTA Employee - Jim Franco - now a Certified Oracle DBA Master

DTA, Inc. is proud to announce that James Franco, Senior Database Support Specialist and Team Lead for Consulting Services, has now been certified as an Oracle DBA Master for database version 10g. Jim now joins the select few hundred Oracle DBAs in the world to achieve this level of certification.

Jim has been with DTA, Inc. for 3 years and has extensive, hands-on experience with several advanced features of Oracle. This includes Data Warehousing for Very Large Databases (VLDBs), Oracle GRID, Oracle Advanced Security for HIPAA compliant databases, Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Data Guard (DG), Enterprise Manager Grid Control (EMGC) and Oracle XML DB. His experience with these features covers the spectrum from planning, design and implementation to post deployment support. Some examples of these applications are: VLDBs used for feeding usage-based billing systems at Telecommunications companies; secured XML based claims processing of Protected Health Information (PHI) data for pharmaceutical companies and High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) infrastructures for high volume websites and other business critical systems.
