Part-Time DBA Service Plans
Our Part-Time DBA Service plan offers a cost-effective alternative to hiring additional staff for your part-time DBA needs. Based on your needs you can have an on-site DBA anywhere from one to five days a week. The same individual will be on-site on the schedule that has been agreed to.
If your DBA support needs change you can simply increase or decrease the level of service you are getting from us. It is a lot easier and cheaper than dealing with hiring full-time staff.
Part-Time DBA Support Pricing The Part-Time DBA plan is priced by the number of days the individual is on-site. In addition to the basic plan you can choose to purchase "Extra Cost Options" for additional support for other times, when you have no one on site.
Our pricing is by number of individuals and/or the number of days they are on-site. However, if you have an application environment consisting of multiple databases (production, test and development) then we will price it by the environment at a substantial discount for related databases.

Silver Part-Time Support
This is our standard service plan to provide part-time DBA support for your production and other databases. This support is provided on-site and includes, among other things, the following:
- On-site DBA one to five days a week
- Same Individual on the same weekly schedule
- Scheduling Flexibility available but subject to DBA availability
- Daily maintenance jobs to keep the database tuned
- Regular performance monitoring and tuning
- Regular space monitoring and optimization
- Manage and maintain daily scheduled backups
- Resolving all error messages in database logs

Gold Part-Time Support
This is our premium service plan to provide part-time DBA support for your critical production databases.
This plan includes everything in the SILVER support plan and additionally provides you coverage for times when the DBA is not on-site. This plan includes the following:
- On-site DBA one to five days a week
- Same Individual on the same weekly schedule
- Scheduling Flexibility available but subject to DBA availability
- Daily maintenance jobs to keep the database tuned
- Regular performance monitoring and tuning
- Regular space monitoring and optimization
- Manage and maintain daily scheduled backups
- Resolving all error messages in database logs
- Available for scheduled outage tasks
- 24 x 7 x 365 Team Availability for DBA Coverage
- Sub 1 hour response to any database emergency
- Same day response to any database non-emergency
